As Biology Goes Digital, New Challenges Require More Qualified Professionals

As scientists work to translate a staggering volume of biological data into new knowledge, the challenge becomes finding better ways to predict, prevent, and cure disease, and solve environmental problems. Students in the BCB undergraduate program apply cutting-edge, quantitative techniques to increase our understanding of biology and uncover meaningful ways to improve health care and the environment.

Students learn in strategically sized classes and get the benefit of having access to the research facilities of multiple disciplines. Our undergraduate program immerses students in collaborative studies, engages them in innovative research, and positions them to make their own discoveries.
