WPI's AEMB chapter won the "Most improved Chapter Award" from the nationals

October 27, 2012, The WPI Student Chapter of Alpha Eta Mu Beta, the Biomedical Engineering Honors Society, recently received an award for the Most Improved Chapter at the annual meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society, held in Atlanta, GA.

October 27, 2012, The WPI Student Chapter of Alpha Eta Mu Beta, the Biomedical Engineering Honors Society, recently received an award for the Most Improved Chapter at the annual meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society, held in Atlanta, GA.  The award was accepted by Society treasurer, Ana Dede, on behalf of the organization.  The award is given annually to the chapter that demonstrates the most improvement in membership, activity, and involvement on campus.  The WPI chapter of Alpha Eta Mu Beta was recognized for its growth in membership, inducting its first class of graduate students and faculty as well as its creation of several professional development events.  Finally, the Society was acknowledged for its fundraising efforts on behalf of the American Heart Association.  Congratulations to all of the officers and members of Alpha Eta Mu Beta for their continued accomplishments.
