Enrollment in the IE Program Continues to Grow

Enrollment in WPI’s Industrial Engineering Program has been steady since its inception in 1996 and has experienced noticeable growth during the past few years. The average number of the IE majors was in high 30’s during the Program’s first decade, but the IE population has exceeded 60 since 2012. Specific enrollment data of the past few years can be found in the 2013 WPI Student Fact Book.

The IE Program at WPI prepared me for my current role as a Business Analyst. The coursework provided me with the opportunity to strengthen my teamwork and communication skills through projects with students studying other majors. The professors' ability to provide 'real-world' examples in class emphasized the connections between the course material and applications to numerous different settings.
