Why did you choose WPI?
I chose WPI over other engineering programs because of WPI’s established reputation in engineering disciplines, as well as its growing name in business education. The university’s unique project-enriched curriculum and commitment to close student-faculty interaction are the other key factors that drew me to WPI.
How did WPI's philosophy of Theory and Practice, and working with teams, prepare you for facing real-world challenges in the workplace?
Through WPI’s project-enriched curriculum, I had the opportunity of being hands on and worked with my colleagues on real problems. Working on real problems was a rewarding experience in terms of building practical skills and understanding the importance of team dynamics.
Are you doing any graduate study at present?
I'm currently pursuing an MS in management science and engineering at Stanford University.
How did your experiences at WPI prepare you for graduate school?
WPI equipped me with a significant set of skills that enabled me to prepare well for graduate school. Through industrial engineering and economic science course work, I have developed not only strong analytical and technical abilities but also solid written and verbal skills.
