Graduate Programs
The Chemical Engineering graduate program at WPI aims to prepare students for exciting, important careers in research, industry, and academia through hands-on, creative research and funded projects—with real-world applications. Research areas include nanotechnology/nanomaterials, environmental engineering, energy research, bioengineering, process control and safety, and reaction engineering. Working with you, one-on-one, will be highly respected research faculty and staff, in a collegial, tight-knit environment that stays on the cutting edge of chemical engineering.
And you’ll go beyond technical knowledge: Graduate students in the Chemical Engineering program are required to present an annual seminar on their research, and encouraged to make scientific presentations at conferences and author scientific journal articles.
