Professor Taskin Padir Newest ECE Tenure Track Faculty Member

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is proud to announce that Professor Taskin Padir is now a tenure track faculty member.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is proud to announce that Professor Taskin Padir is now a tenure track faculty member. Professor Padir has been an integral part of WPI’s Robotics Engineering Program. His research interests include robotics and control, cooperative control of autonomous robots, adaptive control systems, and mathematical modeling and optimization. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Middle East Technical University, his Master of Science and PhD from Purdue University.

ECE Department Head Fred Looft states:
“Please welcome and congratulate Dr. Taskin Padir as our newest tenure track faculty member in ECE – and as our ECE RBE focused colleague!  Dr. Padir will of course continue his dedicated involvement in RBE courses, projects and program development, and now that he is tenure track, will have additional opportunities to help us continue to develop our MS and Ph.D. programs and research in RBE.
