Professor Kaveh Pahlavan, Director of CWINS, welcomed industry leaders and academics to the 2nd Invitational Workshop on Opportunistic RF Localization for Next Generation Wireless Devices on June 13-14 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Richard J. Lynch, Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Verizon Communications delivered the keynote speech for the workshop. Hannu Kauppinen, Director of Business Development at Nokia Research Center, delivered the luncheon speech. Skyhook Wireless was the gold patron and Via Telecom was the silver patron for the workshop.
