Lead by Professors Pedersen and Wyglinski, eleven hardy souls left Atwater-Kent Laboratories before dawn to reach Southern New Hampshire and enjoy a morning of hiking on a beautiful spring day. According to Professor Wyglinski, “A group of ECE community members woke up really early last Friday morning and traveled to Mount Monadnock in Southern New Hampshire. Mount Monadnock is 3165’ above sea level and quite a climb!” The group started their ascent at approximately 1400’ above sea level. “The weather conditions were simply gorgeous, with excellent visibility at the summit.” The team returned to campus by early afternoon and according to all, “we proceeded to spend the rest of the day conducting research and other scholarly endeavors!” The hope is that this will be the first hike of the season with several more to come. Photos of the day can be viewed here.
