Wyglinski Appointed Editor of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications
Professor of electrical and computer engineering Alexander Wyglinski was recently appointed as an editor for the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWireless).
Wyglinski began serving a one-year appointment with a possible two-year extension in January 2013. He is one of 80 editors on the TWireless Editorial Board who are responsible for reviewing and guiding approximately 1,900 annual journal submissions. TWireless editors are selected based on their contributions to and impact in wireless research.
“I am honored by this recognition and opportunity to serve the wireless community,” says Wyglinski. “I’ve published several papers in TWireless in the past and am now enjoying giving back as an editor.”
TWireless was founded by the IEEE in 2001 and focuses on state-of-the art theoretical and practical wireless communications. It is considered one of the premier journals in wireless communications and is known for its stringent submission criteria, high-quality content, and expert editorial board.
