Brent E. French

Brent is a Colonel in the Air Force Reserve with multiple deployments to Afghanistan.  His specialty is protecting air bases in austere locations.  He is currently assigned to the Secretary of Defense.  Brent has maintained a thriving civilian career as an information technology consultant in parallel with his military career.  He and his company were named Air Force Reservist & Employer of the Year for 2009.  Intrigued by the bicultural implications of being a post-9/11 reservist, he researched this topic extensively while completing a PhD in Leadership and Change.  He is committed to preparing the next generation of leaders for the complex world they will inherit.
