- Adjunct Assistant Professor, Chemical Engineering
- Gallo Project Center Director Chemical Engineering
During the courses that I am teaching, I plan to share with my students the knowledge gained during my 35 years of industrial and environmental management in the plastics industry, as well as my years as an environmental consultant. The current environmental technologies and challenges of seven different New England chemical process industry companies are explored through lecture, student research, and half-day plant visits, enabling students to expand their understanding of the wide range of chemical engineering employment opportunities available to them upon graduation. Students will also gain proficiency in plant inspections and industrial report writing, in oral presentation of contemporary environmental issues, and in techniques of industrial operations.
