Housing + Health
Housing and Dining Options
Living on campus can be a rich and rewarding part of your first year experience at WPI. If you want to live on campus, complete a Housing Request Form, which helps us with roommate matching. This will include signing the Housing and Food Services Contract, a binding agreement between you and the university, and selecting a meal plan. (If you are under 18 years of age, a parent's signature is also required.) Visit the Office of Residential Services for more information.
Student Health InsuranceYou must provide proof of adequate health insurance by completing a waiver and enrollment form, available on the Student Health Services website.
Massachusetts requires all enrolled students and Massachusetts residents to have health insurance.
If you are no longer covered by a family plan, WPI makes an insurance plan available through Student Resources that provides coverage for major medical expenses.
Student Health Form
You must complete and submit health forms that include your medical history, immunization records, and physical examination record. Access Health forms through the Student Health Services website and submit information electronically.
Student Health Fee
The Student Health Fee, a line item on your fall and spring tuition bills, covers most services directly available at Student Health Services and the Student Development and Counseling office. This is a required fee. Students are responsible for the cost of laboratory tests, x-rays, prescription medications, and other expenses incurred when referred to an off-campus physician or hospital.
