Since joining WPI in 2002, Randy has overseen laboratory operations for the Fire Protection Engineering program. The department's facilities accommodate not only FPE faculty and student research, but also a diverse array of interdepartmental, intercollegiate, and industry research, as well as K-12 education. Randy’s avocation is music; he keeps a busy schedule playing mainly in southern New England and creating music in his home studio.

Catherine enjoys serving as the primary contact for industry sponsors and student interns for the FPE Graduate Internship Program. She assists FPE student applicants through the entire process. She also collects and distributes employment opportunities for students and alumni, assists with clerical tasks, and helps in many other ways.

Lead administrator for the Fire Protection Engineering Department, Mary handles a wide range of tasks for faculty, student, and industrial colleagues. She's the "go to" person for registration, finance, scheduling, department statistics, and much more.
