In administering two vital components of the complete WPI education experience, IGSD helps prepare students for life. The rewards they reap though their Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) efforts and the Global Perspective Program (GPP) deliver many long-lasting and valuable benefits. Project work helps each student become a stronger collaborator—which is essential to performing effectively in the workplace. Apart from projects, students also turn to IGSD for guidance in putting together an Individually Designed Major —a custom degree program that can incorporate diverse combinations of technical and non-technical study.
