Health, Safety, and Security Off Campus

A Commonsense Approach Can Help Ensure a Safe and Enjoyable Experience

A safe and successful off-campus experience does not just occur—it requires careful planning and preparation. WPI is committed to the health, safety, and security of all students who participate in our programs. While off-campus study can present unique challenges, careful risk management and diligent planning can result in a rewarding project experience.

All students participating in off-campus programs must carry medical insurance that is valid at the project site for the length of the program. The IGSD must have the name of the insurance provider and the student’s subscription number. WPI provides travel assistance through ACE

Students and families may find more information on supplemental health insurance at the following websites. (No WPI endorsement or recommendation is implied.)
