Global Perspective Program (GPP)

The GPP enables students to learn by doing at more than 30 Project Centers around the world. They have the opportunity to complete any of their projects: IQPMQP, or HUA Requirement off campus at one of our Project Centers. Collaborating with faculty advisors and local community members, students put their skills and education to work to find solutions to issues that impact everyday life. Learn more… 

Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP)

Unlike an academic course, this nine-credit-hour interdisciplinary requirement involves applied research that connects science or technology with social issues and human needs. Under the faculty guidance, students conduct research on a specific problem or challenge. Learn more… 

Individually Designed Majors (IDM)

IDMs give students the flexibility to design majors beyond the established programs available through the WPI undergraduate course catalog. Through IDMs, students have more academic options and can take advantage of greater creativity. Learn more…
