WPI offers an exciting option for Launch participants– a residential component allows students to reside in WPI residence halls during the duration of the program. Please see details on commuter and residential options below. Participants can choose a commuter or a residential option.
Residential participants will stay in the WPI residence halls and dine in the main dining hall, providing a true college experience. All meals (excluding Sunday and Friday evening) are provided for residential students. Program assistants (WPI undergraduate students) will stay with the students from the end of the day (4:00 p.m.) until the start of the program the next morning. Residential students will attend staff supervised evening activities and will be in their residence halls by 10:00 p.m. with a lights out time of 10:30 p.m. Residential students will be asked to arrive on campus, Sunday August 2, 2015 between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. and will be asked to move out of their residence halls by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015.
Commuter participants will attend Launch Monday-Friday, from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. WPI will allow commuter students to arrive no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and depart campus no later than 5:00 p.m. Drop-off and pick-up of commuter students will be monitored. Lunch is included in registration fee for commuter participants.
Programs fill quickly, so make sure to reserve your space.
