Student Advisory Committee
This committee consists of three undergraduate and two graduate students who meet regularly with library staff to advise the library on new initiatives, services, and resources. Additional students may be solicited for input for large projects. WPI students interested in serving on this should committee contact Tracey Leger-Hornby at tlh@wpi.edu or +1-508-831-5058. The term of service is one year from January through December. Meetings are held once per term/twice per semester and are generally 1 hour to 1½ hours.
Objectives:
- Advise and assist in the design and implementation of services affecting students
- Promote the library among the WPI student body
- Offer a student perspective on relevant library issues
- Serve as a conduit to student governance on library-related issues
