Curation, Preservation, and Archives

Gordon Library's Curation, Preservation, and Archives (also known as the "Archives") actively collects, preserves, and makes available university records, collections and works of enduring value. In support of institutional and library missions, the Archives provides services to the WPI community, scholarly researchers, and the broader public.

The University Archives' holdings include early school records, academic and administrative departments' records, student and alumni organization records, and the papers of past WPI presidents. Also among the holdings: Yearbooks, school newspapers, alumni publications, photographs, and WPI memorabilia.
Rare Books and Personal Libraries
Approximately 4,000 old and unique editions ranging in topics from science and technology to American and British literature to the histories of Worcester and New England.
Personal and Corporate Collections
Collections includes faculty, staff, and alumni papers, Worcester and area businesses' corporate archivesThe Robert Fellman Charles Dickens Collection, , the Woodbury Collection, and the Theo Brown Diaries Collection.
