Fitchburg

Fitchburg Sentinel and Sentinel Printing Company
The Fitchburg Sentinel began publication in 1838, with James Garfield as the printer and Ezra W. Reed as the editor. In 1912 it was publishing an average of 5,052 copies a day. The Sentinel Printing Company also did job printing. The company continues today at 808 Main Street as the Sentinel and Enterprise.
