Educating Tomorrow’s Problem Solvers
WPI’s graduate programs in the mathematical sciences prepare students for leadership roles in business, technology, healthcare, engineering, and more. Working alongside WPI’s accomplished faculty and researchers, our graduate students are exposed to a learning experience that is hands-on, with real-world impact.
With flexibility in design, as well as choice of concentration, WPI’s Mathematical Sciences department offers graduate students two traditional MS programs in Applied Mathematics and Applied Statistics, two professional MS programs in Financial Mathematics and Industrial Mathematics, a Master of Mathematics for Educators program, and a PhD program in Mathematical Sciences.
Graduate students have amazing opportunities to work with the international academic community, national research centers, and industry. Collaborations include United Technologies, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and University of Paris VI.
