Coming from all over the globe, WPI Mathematical Sciences students are truly diverse and unique. Yet they share a common passion for math—whether their special interest is graph theory, actuarial science, or geothermal energy. They are alike in other ways as well; all are intelligent, ambitious and compassionate, with a desire to make a difference in the world.
WPI’s mathematical sciences students are often interested in more than just mathematics, and many double major their mathematical program with engineering, life & biological sciences, technology, business and more.
Get to know some of our Mathematical Sciences students: where they come from, what drives them, why they chose to attend WPI, study mathematics, and how they add to the diverse landscape of WPI’s campus.
