Baillie McNally Wins in 2013 International Metallographic Contest
The primary goal of the International Metallographic Contest (IMC) is to advance the science of microstructural analysis by providing an opportunity for those interested in material properties and characterization to display their work and communicate significant scientific information. The annual contest features the best work of metallographers and microstructural analysts from around the world.
Baillie McNally's micrograph of the microstructure of a Cold Spray Aluminum Alloy, which was viewed with a light microscope and polarized light, won Second Place in the category of Artistic Microscopy - Color Only.
