Professor Sisson wins Outstanding Materials Engineer (OSME) Award 2014

Professor Richard Sisson has been chosen as one of three Outstanding Materials Engineer (OSME) award winners for 2014 for his work in applying fundamental science in transport phenomena, phase transformations and phase equilibria to a wide range engineering materials systems, as well as for his leadership within academia in his role as Dean of Graduate Studies  here at WPI. The award was established to recognize alumni who have demonstrated exemplary accomplishments and leadership in some aspect of the field of Materials Science and Engineering or an affiliated profession. Since the School of Materials Engineering has more than 1,700 alumni, this award is viewed as recognition of significant accomplishment.
