School Year Programs

Help the next generation of STEM gain an edge in the classroom and in life!  These acclaimed programs, conducted by WPI’s diverse faculty and staff, reflect the university’s commitment to meeting real-world challenges by developing leadership and teamwork skills.

For students from third through fifth grade, WPI helps with homework, tutoring, and mentoring for children associated with Friendly House. You can also encourage girls to pursue careers in engineering through Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day!

Middle school students have many exciting programs to pick from, ranging from half-day workshops focused on the STEM field to participate in robotics competitions, plus more. Girls can also participate in Tech Girls, an outreach program to encourage girls to pursue a career in the STEM field, introducing them to positive female role models.

Students in high school can visit WPI and learn more about the university and admissions process and participate in competitions across a wide range of disciplines. Multicultural and first-generation students have the ability to participate in the EPICS Program, an educational and mentorship program for students interested in STEM.
