The health care field is dependent on teamwork. Patient care is often delivered by a group of practitioners, working together.
And you’ll get started building teamwork skills here at WPI, working in groups and in the real world so you’ll be able to hit the ground running in your chosen health care profession once you graduate. Working in interdisciplinary teams, conducting graduate-level research as an undergraduate student, and immersing yourself in different communities, at home and abroad, will give you a good idea of what’s involved in working in the health care field, and what it takes to be successful.
Create Your Own Path
While most students interested in a health care profession will take similar core classes, at WPI the similarities stop there. Your path will be different than anyone else’s, and your application to professional school will be unique, just like you. Here, you’ll choose your own major, be immersed in a project-enriched learning environment, work on many different projects to gain real-world experience, have the opportunity to work with world-renowned researchers, and build a resume that will be exclusively your own.
