Professional Writing alumni, whose course work includes a combination of communication with technical, science, and engineering specialization, represent the WPI motto of Theory and Practice both in graduate schools like those for medicine, law, and pharmacy studies; and in careers, from global corporations to nonprofit organizations, and beyond.
One graduate has achieved success at self-employment with technical writing and authoring a book series. Others work in core communication areas such as web design, analytics, game design, and marketing and public relations.
Read perspectives from some of our alumni, and learn how professional writing knowledge within a WPI education has been an advantage in their vocational and daily lives.
