Director of Robotics Engineering Mike Gennert Featured in the Fiscal Times Article

The Fiscal Times features Mike Gennert

The Fiscal Times includes an article on the ethics of using robots in military operations and features WPI professor Mike Gennert, director of WPI’s Robotics Engineering program. Gennert points out the many positive robotic technologies resulting from military funding, including the DARPA challenge to create robots for disaster response. He also notes that he requires all undergraduates to take a course in social issues connected to robots to explore robo-ethics.
