Degree: BS, Robotics Engineering
Why did you choose WPI?
WPI was the first school to offer an accredited Robotics Engineering program.
How has WPI's philosophy of Theory and Practice, as well as working with teams, been beneficial to you during your time at WPI?
In high school, I was a part of the robotics team and even then I learned the value experience of hands-on activities, whether it’s building a robot or performing community service. WPI was an easy transition and it helped further my interest in building robots and getting involved.
What do you consider WPI's greatest strengths?
To me it’s their passion to be innovative and generate new ideas/programs for students. This is what led WPI to introduce the Robotics Engineering program. I am proud to be a WPI student because innovation and creativity are what sparks new ideas in today's society.
What do you hope to do after graduation?
I hope to further Robotics technology and education in the state of Hawaii.
