BS, Robotics Engineering
Why did you choose WPI?
I was impressed with the Project Program, term system--basically the whole WPI Plan. Also, I was very interested in the Robotics Engineering program.
How has WPI's philosophy of Theory and Practice, as well as working with teams, been beneficial to you during your time at WPI?
It has given me a lot of useful and practical experience in my intended fields. The Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) gave me a great understanding of what working in a team on a project is like, as well as working in an office environment. Additionally, my courses have allowed me to work in teams regularly to create a large and interesting project.
What do you consider to be WPI's greatest strengths?
I think what stands out are the WPI Plan, the seven-week terms, project work--especially the IQP and Major Qualifying Project (MQP)--and the focus on practical learning. The BS/MS programs are also noteworthy.
What do you hope to do after graduation?
I’m looking forward to advancing from my bachelor’s degree to a master’s in the Robotics Engineering BS/MS program.
