New England PLTW Counselor-Administrator-Teacher Conference
As the Connecticut Affiliate for Project Lead The Way, University of New Haven is pleased to host the 2011 New England PLTW Guidance Counselor - School Administrator - Teacher Conference. This conference is co-sponsored by WPI in Massachusetts and NHTI Concord’s Community College in New Hampshire and will be the only one for this academic year in the New England region. This annual conference is designed to keep school counselors, administrators and teachers up to date on Project Lead The Way. It also serves as an important opportunity for school administrators from interested schools to become better acquainted with the program. The conference will enable attendees to better understand what Project Lead The Way is, who it is for, and what outcomes students, parents and teachers can expect from the program. This conference also includes a parallel update workshop for existing PLTW teachers in the following PLTW courses: IED, POE, DE, CEA, GTT, EDD, and BE.
