WPI Project Centers
As part of the Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP), all WPI undergraduates research and address challenges that affect people and communities at home and all over the world. During this project-based experience, WPI students tackle problems that lie at the interface of science, technology, social issues, and human needs.
Our students have the opportunity to solve a real-world problem in one of our 31 project centers located on six continents around the globe. From Worcester, Massachusetts, to Namibia, South Africa, WPI students make a difference by helping create healthy, prosperous, and environmentally responsible communities.
Our students don’t just see the world—they achieve things that really matter.
