Living On Campus
WPI has a beautiful traditional New England campus with a grassy quad surrounded by brick and stone residence halls and academic buildings.
Often called the living room of the campus, the new Rubin Campus Center is the heart of community and social life at WPI. This gathering place includes dining facilities, mail services, the campus bookstore, a game room, and formal and informal lounges. It's also the place you'll find student organizations and publications, banking and information services, and administrative offices that focus on leadership training, community service and student activities.
Students can blow off steam at the athletic facilities in Harrington Auditorium, jog a few laps around the outdoor track, or catch a football game on Alumni Field.
There are many off-campus possibilities. Within close walking distance are Worcester's restaurants, music clubs, shopping, and more. You can hop on a train to Boston and experience everything it has to offer – it's only about an hour's ride.
