Admitted Student Visit Options

Now that you have been admitted to WPI, it might be time for you to come and visit! Whether you have been to campus in the past or not there are several opportunities for you, as an admitted student, to visit before you make your final college choice.

Campus Tours & Information Sessions

Weekdays

Our campus tours and information sessions are a great way to get the basics of WPI if you have not had a chance to visit in the past. You can choose the morning or afternoon, and the visit will last just over two hours.

Saturdays

Our office is open on selected Saturdays for campus tours and information sessions as well. 

Open Houses

We offer two open houses in April specifically dedicated to you! The Closer Look programs are a great way to hear from Professors, Department Heads, and current students on various topics covering anything from academics to what dorms you can live in. Be sure to register in advance for either program on April 10 or April 17.

Looking to stay overnight?

At a similar time to the Closer Look open houses there are various overnight opporunities offered as well. Spending the night is a wonderful way to get a real uderstanding of student life and depending on your interests, one of the overnight programs might just be what you are looking for.

Athena Project

This particular program is a women's only overnight and occur the night before our Closer Look open houses. Registration is required in advance.

Unity Overnight

The Unity overnight program is geared toward African American, Latino, and Native American students; however, all are welcome to attend.  This program occurs the night before our Closer Look open houses.  Registration is required in advance. 

Other overnight options

In addition to the above programs, we also offer two additional opportunities to spend the night in April.  Student may spend the night on April 7th or April 21st.  Space is limited so please contact jloveless@wpi.edu for additional information.

Unable to come to campus?

If you are unable to come to campus but would like to meet with alumni and other admitted students in your area, we might just be in your neck of the woods. We will be hosting several informal gathering in various locations across the globe and would love to see you! Be sure to check out if we are coming to a city near you!
