An Exhibition of the Theo Brown Diaries

An Exhibition of the Theo Brown Diaries

During Homecoming 2010 weekend, a special reception was held for the new exhibition of the diaries of Worcester-born Theophilus "Theo" Brown (1879-1971), chief designer at Deere and Company, now John Deere. The diaries include Brown's work on tractor innovations, test results, drawings and photographs, as well as his chronicles of fatherhood, world events, his travels, and the small details of life. Special guests at the reception included Brown's family and representatives from John Deere. The reception was sponsored by WPI's Alden Society, for individuals who have included WPI in their estate plans.
