WPI Selects Orientation Leaders

WORCESTER, Mass. - The WPI Student Activities Office, in conjunction with Student Life, recently selected juniors Rebecca Hoffman of Sterling, Mass., and Sarah Thompson of Conway, N.H., and sophomore Christopher Milici of Woodbridge, Conn., to be senior team leaders for the university's fall 1997 Orientation program. Each of the students has served at least one year as an Orientation leader.
Hoffman, who is majoring in mechanical engineering with biomedical interests, is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, the Student Alumni Society and Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, and has assisted with numerous academic tutoring programs.
Thompson is a biotechnology major. She has served as an Admissions Office tour guide and is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
Milici, a chemical engineering major, is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Academic Honesty Committee and Lens and Lights, an organization of student professionals who provide lighting, sound and projection services for on- and off-campus events..
