Graduate Admissions Director Announced at WPI

Worcester, Mass. - Jeanne M. Gosselin is the new Director of Graduate Admissions at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The announcement was made by WPI Associate Provost William W. Durgin. Gosselin comes to WPI from the State University at New York at Cortland where she served as Associate Director of Admissions and Graduate Coordinator since 1996.

Gosselin's experience includes serving as Director of Admissions at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City from 1990 to 1996 and Admissions Counselor, Assistant Director and Associate Director at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. from 1984 to 1990.

She earned her undergraduate degree in English Communications at North Adams State College, North Adams, Mass., and her master's degree in Foundations of Education from Hofstra University.

She will be responsible for graduate admissions at the technological university's main campus in Worcester, and off-site campuses in Southborough and Waltham, Mass. for approximately 1,100 full- and part-time graduate students. Half of these students are professionals studying on a part-time basis.
