WPI's Massachusetts Academy of Mathematics and Science Announces Class of 2002

WORCESTER, Mass. - A new class of high-school juniors has been accepted at the Massachusetts Academy of Mathematics and Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. A publicly funded high school for talented students from throughout Central Massachusetts, the academy offers instruction for students in grades 11 and 12. It is a collaborative effort among the commonwealth of Massachusetts, WPI and Massachusetts high schools to identify and nurture students with exceptional aptitude for mathematics and science. Juniors learn from master teachers, while seniors attend classes at WPI, one of the top technological universities in the country. The following new juniors will attend the Mass Academy this fall:
