July 16 Outdoor Concert to Include Traditional Band Favorites and Show Tunes

WORCESTER, Mass. - July 11, 2002 - The Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Summer Band is giving a free concert on Tuesday, July 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the plaza in front of the University’s new Campus Center. The program of traditional band favorites and show tunes will be conducted by Douglas Weeks.
The WPI Summer Band is composed of students, faculty, staff and alumni. The concert is free and open the public. Free ice cream sundaes will be provided for the audience.
The campus is located at 100 Institute Road in Worcester. Parking is available in the campus main parking lot and on West Street.
