Worcester, Mass. - November 8, 2002 - Alain Hanover, managing
director and CEO of Navigator Technology Ventures will speak at
Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on November 14. The program
runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Salisbury Labs 104. Mr. Hanover's
presentation is presented by the WPI Department of Management.
Mr. Hanover will speak on enterpreneurship, technology and management. He has more than three decades of experience in venture capital, executive management, software development and engineering. He was a co-founder and president, CEO and Chairman of ViewLogic Systems, Inc., an electronic automation software company he took public in 1991. He has served as CEO for over 15 years at InCert and Viewlogic as well as being an early stage investor and advisor in more than 20 private companies. He is also a co founder of CommonAngels, Boston's leading angel investor group.
Mr. Hanover holds degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics from MIT; a masters degree in applied math from Harvard University; and an executive MBA/OPM program degree from the Harvard Business School.
