WPI's Masque Theatre Group to Present Arthur Miller's The Crucible
Masque, the theatre organization at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and the Department of Humanities and Arts, will present Arthur Miller's classic The Crucible. The play is set against the backdrop of the witch hunts of the Salem witch trials in the late 17th century. It is about a town, after accusations from a few girls, which starts a hunt for witches that did not exist.
WPI senior Steven Vessella is directing, and Rick Desilets, also a senior, is the producer. The 25-member cast features undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni.
