The College Admissions Collaborative Highlighting Engineering and Technology (CACHET) is a network of colleges, universities and other non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting opportunities for students in engineering and technology.  CACHET provides a forum for senior admissions staff and other education professionals to promote the many opportunities available to students in these fields.  Senior admissions staff meet annually at the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) conference to share best practices and to plan outreach activities to raise engineering awareness amongst students and guidance counselors.  Recent events have included group travel and counselor receptions at national conferences.  CACHET is proud to partner with American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) to promote engineering education through the Inspire Innovation campaign.  In addition, CACHET has a close association with the National Consortium of Specialized Secondary Schools in Math, Science and Technology (NCSSSMST).  For more information about CACHET sponsorship or events, please contact Kristin Tichenor, Vice President for Enrollment Management, WPI, at tichenor@wpi.edu.

Founded in 2002, CACHET currently has 27 member institutions:
