When completed, the center will become the university’s main facility for undergraduate teaching and research in biology and biotechnology, biomedical engineering, chemistry and biochemistry, and chemical engineering. It will promote cooperation and collaboration across the disciplines, and science programs. Work on the renovation will begin in July; its opening is slated for C-Term 2009.
