Baccalaureate Ceremony

Friday, May 16, 2014 @ 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

The Baccalaureate Ceremony is fully developed by the Senior Class, and offers a quieter, more intimate opportunity to pause and reflect on this rite of passage, hear faculty members offer advice to the graduating class, and enjoy students' musical talents. Reception to follow on the Rubin Campus Center Patio. 

ROTC Commissioning Ceremony

We would like to congratulate our newly graduated and commissioned officers of the U.S. Armed Forces and for their dedication and commitment to both their academic degree and their completion of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.

We hope that WPI's 146th Commencement Ceremony will be a rewarding experience for you and your family/friends. Please join us in celebrating our students as they receive their hard-earned degrees from WPI's President. The Commencement Speaker is Bernard Amadei, Founder of Engineers Without Borders - USA. Reception to follow in the Recreation Center.

Featured Student Commencement Speaker, Joe Gay

Joe is a native of Charlton, Massachusetts, and majored in Mechanical Engineering.  He went to Thailand for his IQP project, where he worked with coffee farmers to improve their farming practices.  As a student, he was an active member of Phi Kappa Theta, he was treasurer for Soc Comm, and served as a Crimson Key Tour Guide.  He will soon start working for Spectra Energy in Waltham. The title of his address is ‘A Different Perspective?’
