Rehearsal

All students who are graduating are expected to attend the Commencement Rehearsal Program, which occurs on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 4:00 PM in Harrington Auditorium. It is important that all graduating students (undergraduates, as well as graduate students) attend the rehearsal to ensure that seniors understand how the graduation line up and commencement ceremony will be conducted.

Line up for Commencement on Saturday May 11, 2013 will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. in front of Boynton Hall, with the processional stepping off around 10:30 a.m. The Commencement ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. Out of respect for all participants this day, it is expected that all graduates will receive their diploma and return to their seat for the remainder of the ceremony.

Information will be distributed to you at rehearsal related to line up procedures in the event rain conditions require an indoor Commencement in Harrington Auditorium. We think positively, however, and expect that we will continue the WPI tradition of having a beautiful sunny day for our outdoor Commencement.
