2013 Senior Week Activities - This is the schedule of the Senior Week activities.
Wednesday, May 1st: Senior Night at Jillian's - $10.00
Bus shuttles between WPI and Jillian's between 7:00pm and 11:00pm TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ONLINE UNTIL NOON MAY 1ST. AFTER THAT YOU MAY PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE BUS.
Come kick-off senior week events and relax with your friends at Jillian's billariard club in Worcester. Play billiards, participate in Jillian's eekly Trivia challenge, or just relax and watch the game. Tickets include delicious hot and cold appetizers, unlimited soda and water, billiards, Trivia, and a $5.00 game card with participation in Trivia. Thursday, May 2nd: Throwback Thursday Trivia-Free
Goat's Head 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Come and have some fun at this 90's themed trivia event at the Goat's Head. There will be free food, sunglasses with the chance to win some other great prizes. There will also be a Cash Bar and a chance to donate to the 2013 Senior Class Gift. If you donate for the first time or increase your giving level you will get a complimentary drink ticket! Don't miss one of your last chances to donate!
Friday, May 3rd F1 Racing Boston - $35.00
Bus departs WPI at 11:30am and returns by 4:00pm TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE BUS.
Experience the ultimate indoor kart racing experience. Ticket price includes transportation and two races, as well as a championship race for top competitors. All drivers must be over 18 and hold a valid driver's license. For more information about FI Racing Boston, visit http://www.f1boston.com/ .
Sunday, May 5th: White Water Rafting - SOLD OUT
Bus departs WPI at 8:30am and returns by 7pm
Raft down the Deerfield River with Zoar Outdoor on the Zoar Gap excursion. The trip will begin at 10:30am and last until 4:30pm. Monday, May 6th: Boston Red Sox Trip- SOLD OUT
Bus departs WPI at 4:30pm and returns by 11:00pm. Game begins at 7:10pm
Come see the Boston Red Sox take on the Minnesota Twins at Fenway Park in Boston. Ticket includes coach bus transportation and seats in the Grandstand. Formore information about the game, visit http://boston.redsox.mlb.com .
Tuesday, May 7th: President Gift Reception (Invitation Only) No Charge
President's home, 1 Drury Lane from 5:30-7:00pm
Style of dress is business casual. Refreshments and hors d'oeurves will be served. To receive an invitation you must be a senior and contribute at least $50 to the Senior Class Gift.
Wednesday, May 8th: Rehearsal for all candidates (Ph.D., Masters, BS/BA)
Harrington Auditorium at 4pm
Thursday, May 9th: Senior Class Welcome Reception, sponsored by WPI's Graduates of the Last Decade - FREE
Campus Center Odeum from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
WPI's Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) alumni welcome the graduating seniors into the alumni community in this special event. The event is a cocktail reception which will include complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.
