Learning at WPI: What's Special?
You probably have heard the following items several times. It takes time for you to get to know WPI and adjust yourself to the new environment.
- Fast pace: Seven-week terms mean you cannot get behind. Many courses have three exams during the term. Missing class will hurt your grade.
- Team work: Be able to work with other people. Develop personal and communication skills.
- Projects: Learn how to integrate science, technology, social science and other knowledge to solve real-world problems.
