Students with an alternative media format accommodation will need their course textbooks/books in an alternative, accessible format (braille, audio, electronic, etc.), and can request texts in their preferred format through the ODS. The student is required to purchase the book and show proof of purchase when requesting an alternative format conversion. If you are approved for an alternative format media accommodation and have identified texts you will need in an alternative format, please fill out the form using the link below.

This accommodation may also be used to convert other course materials, such as journal articles, readings, or papers, into accessible formats. If you need these other materials in accessible formats, contact the ODS directly by emailing disabilityservices@wpi.edu.
