Office of Diversity and Women's Programs

WPI’s Office of Diversity and Women’s Programs provides support, advocacy, and development services to help our students be successful at WPI and competitive in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.  WPI also provides opportunities for middle- and high school-aged children to have positive exposure to STEM disciplines.

Through networking opportunities, advising, clubs, and special events, our students forge strong connections with each other, the broader WPI community, and faculty and professional mentors. Today, there are 1100 women students on campus—30 percent of the student population. And our underrepresented minority population has more than doubled over the past five years—from 47 students in 2005, to 96 this year, a 104 percent increase.

Thank you.
