* Financial Aid applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis for students accepted under the Early Action Program. The sooner you file your 2013-14 CSS PROFILE Application, the sooner you will find out about your financial aid eligibility as an Early Action applicant. Please note that financial aid offers to students selected for verification (by either the Federal Department of Education or by the WPI Office of Financial Aid) are not final until your federal tax return transcripts, are submitted to and reviewed by the WPI Office of Financial Aid.
** A limited amount of need-based financial aid is available for undergraduate International Students. Financial assistance is only offered to international students who enter as freshman in the fall semester. (No assistance is available to international transfer students or to those students applying for the spring semester.) Financial assistance should be considered secondary to family, government, and other sponsor support for the student's studies. Students must demonstrate a minimum family contribution of $16,400, plus travel expenses, to the cost of attendance at WPI to be considered for financial assistance.
*** The CSS PROFILE is not required for most returning students. Further details can be found under the Returning Undergraduate Students section of the Applying for Financial Aid tab on the left.
Students applying for financial aid must submit the International Student Financial Aid Application along with their application for admission. International students not applying for financial aid must submit the Certification of Finances form documenting their ability to pay the full cost of attendance. The Certification of Finances form can be downloaded from the International Student page on the WPI Admissions web site
Returning International Students do not need to reapply for financial aid each year.
